Hi, we're limitless

About Limitless

xoxo Trish

I didn't come from a typical fitness background.

In a previous life, I was a management consultant. Still, I always knew I wanted to coach, but I heard I couldn't. Apparently, I was "too old" or "too Asian". I didn't have the "right look".

But I ignored the noise, and set up the first women’s fitness community in Hong Kong…and at the same time, become HK’s first professional female MMA fighter.

I joined a founding team of a commercial lifestyle gym concept, setting up 9 facilities across HK (an entrepreneur’s dream?) But it wasn’t me. I wanted to run in the opposite direction of “scale”.

So travelled the world and learned from the best minds in health, performance, and functional medicine, which gave me a completely different perspective to health and wellness.

Enter Limitless. A two-year case study to see if a gym could go deep on understanding a person before we ever put a barbell in their hands?  And what if a gym treated every client like they were seeing a nutritionist, a health coach, and a personal trainer all at once?

Six years on, we're still going strong. The framework works!

"I wanted a gym that treated every client like they were seeing a nutritionist, a health coach, and a personal trainer all at once."

us about the most.

Frequently Asked...

What is functional medicine and how does it help with fitness?

Functional medicine looks beyond standard blood tests to identify the root causes of symptoms affecting energy, recovery, hormones, metabolism, and sleep. In a fitness context, it means your training programme is built around what is actually happening inside your body, not a generic template.

At Limitless in Central Hong Kong, functional medicine testing is integrated directly into personalised training plans, particularly for clients 35 and over whose bodies are no longer responding to conventional fitness approaches because of changes to hormones, lifestyle and metabolism.

Is strength training safe for women over 40?

Yes! Strength training is one of the most important things women 35 years and over can do for their long-term health.

It protects bone density, maintains muscle mass, supports metabolic health, and reduces the risk of injury and frailty later in life.

The key is that the training programme  must account for hormonal shifts, recovery capacity, and individual biomechanics — which is why a one-size-fits-all approach rarely works at this life stage. Working with a qualified health coach or female personal trainer in Hong Kong who understands perimenopause and menopause physiology makes a significant difference to both safety and results.

Close

What is the difference between a personal trainer and a health coach?

A personal trainer designs and delivers exercise programmes. A health coach takes a broader view,  looking at nutrition, sleep, stress, lifestyle habits, and the factors affecting overall wellbeing alongside physical training.

At Limitless in Hong Kong, all coaches are trained across both disciplines, meaning clients receive integrated support rather than isolated fitness advice. This combined approach is particularly effective for those dealing with chronic stress, hormonal changes, or energy instability that conventional gym training hasn't resolved. Key indicators that combined health coaching would be advised includes seeing less results from your current workout than you have previously,  the onset of perimenopause or menopause, or changes in energy, sleep or emotions, especially when exercise and diet aren't helping.

Close

How much does a personal trainer in Hong Kong cost?

Personal trainer prices in Hong Kong typically range from HK$700 to HK$2,000+ per session depending on experience, qualifications, and session format.

At Limitless, pricing reflects a higher level of coaching that integrates strength training, nutritional therapy, and functional medicine,  rather than a standard gym session.

Small Group Personal Training is also available at a lower price point without compromising on personalisation. Contact us for a current rate card and complimentary consultation.

Close

How long does it take to see results from personal training in Hong Kong?

Most clients notice meaningful changes in energy, sleep quality, and physical performance within four to six weeks,  often before.

At Limitless, we measure progress continuously through conversation, movement quality, and how clients feel day to day rather than before-and-after photographs or weekly weigh-ins.  Long-term results — sustainable body composition changes, improved metabolic health, and lasting strength — typically develop over three to six months when training is integrated with nutrition and recovery support.

We focus on building health that compounds over years, so you feel healthy and strong for the long-term, no matter your lifestyle changes.
